Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about working with WebMaxPro - answered honestly and in plain language.

The Process

How does the web design process work?

It starts with a brief conversation or written brief where you tell us about your business, your audience, your goals, and what you want the website to achieve. We review your existing materials (logo, photos, any text you have) and ask clarifying questions. We then design the site and share a link to a staging preview for your feedback. After your revisions, we launch on your hosting. Most projects go through this cycle in 7-14 business days.

What do I need to provide to get started?

Ideally: your logo file (SVG or high-resolution PNG), any photos you want to use, and the text for each page. If you don't have professional photography, we can advise on stock options or work with what you have. If you need help writing your page content, we offer copywriting as an add-on. The more prepared you are, the faster we move.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

The Launch package includes 2 rounds of revisions, the Professional package includes 3, and the Business package includes unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. A "round" means you review the design, send all your feedback in one consolidated message, and we implement it. Revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at €50/hour, but this rarely comes up - we align on direction early to avoid surprises.

Can I request changes after the site launches?

Yes. Professional and Business packages include 1 and 3 months of post-launch support respectively, during which we'll make small content updates for free. After that, changes are billed at €50/hour - typically a very small cost for minor updates. Alternatively, we can set up a simple CMS so you can make text updates yourself without needing us.

Pricing & Payment

Why are your prices lower than most agencies?

We have lower overheads than traditional agencies. No expensive city-centre office, no large account management team, no business development staff. You're paying for the people who actually build your site, not the infrastructure around them. We're also efficient - our process is refined to deliver quality work quickly without unnecessary back-and-forth.

Are there any recurring fees?

No fees from us. You'll pay your domain registrar (€10-30/year) and your hosting provider (€50-150/year) directly - those are not WebMaxPro charges. If you choose our monthly maintenance package (€49/month), that's optional and can be cancelled anytime.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer (preferred for European clients) and credit/debit card via Stripe. For international clients, we can also accept PayPal. Payment is split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, except for projects under €300 which are paid in full upfront.

Ownership & Hosting

Who owns the website after delivery?

You do, completely. All code, all content, all design - it belongs to you the moment we deliver it. We retain no rights over your website and have no ongoing control of it. This is fundamentally different from some agencies who host your site on their servers and hold the code - with us, you get the complete files and full ownership from day one.

Where should I host my website?

We're hosting-agnostic - your site will run on any standard web host. For European businesses, we recommend quality providers like Combell (Belgium), SiteGround, Cloudways, or Hetzner for their combination of performance, reliability, and value. We can advise on the best option for your location and expected traffic. We do not provide or resell hosting - you keep that relationship direct with your provider.

What platform is the site built on?

We build in clean, hand-coded HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript - no WordPress, no Wix, no Squarespace, no page builders. This is a deliberate choice: hand-coded sites are faster, more secure, cheaper to host, and have no ongoing software maintenance requirements. They also score consistently high on Google PageSpeed. For clients who need to update content themselves without developer help, we can integrate a lightweight headless CMS as an add-on.

SEO & Performance

Will my website rank on Google?

Every WebMaxPro website is built with solid on-page SEO foundations: proper title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup, fast loading speed, and mobile responsiveness. These are necessary conditions for ranking - but ranking also requires good content, backlinks, and time. We give you the best possible technical foundation; building on it with content and promotion is an ongoing process that takes weeks to months to produce results.

What PageSpeed scores will my site get?

Our hand-coded sites typically score 90-99 on Google PageSpeed Insights for both mobile and desktop. The exact score depends on image optimisation and third-party integrations (booking systems, maps embeds, etc.), but we optimise everything we can control. We share your PageSpeed score at delivery so you can see the result independently.

Do you do ongoing SEO?

We specialise in on-page technical SEO built into every site. We don't currently offer ongoing SEO services like link building, content marketing campaigns, or monthly reporting. For businesses that need that level of ongoing SEO support, we're happy to build the technical foundation and recommend trusted SEO specialists to partner with for the ongoing work.

Languages & International

Can you build websites in Arabic?

Yes - this is one of our specialisms. We build fully bilingual Arabic/English websites with proper right-to-left (RTL) layout, Arabic-optimised typography, and independent Arabic SEO. We serve clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and the wider Arab world. Arabic is not an afterthought in our process - it's a first-class language version we build with the same care as English.

Which languages can you build websites in?

We regularly build in English, Dutch, French, German, Arabic, and Spanish. For other languages, we can build the site structure and implement the content you provide - the design and technical work is language-agnostic. We can also advise on professional translation services for languages we don't write in-house.

Do you work with clients outside Belgium?

Absolutely. Our clients are spread across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Australia. We operate fully remotely and our process works smoothly across all time zones. The majority of our communication happens via email and video call, which works just as well as being in the same city - often better, because the written communication trail is clear and useful throughout the project.
